Sensitive information. We do not process sensitive information.

Payment data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment, such as your payment instrument number and its associated security code. All payment data is handled and stored by Razorpay — you may find their privacy notice at razorpay.com/privacy-policy.

Social media login data. If you register using an existing social media account, we collect certain profile information from that provider, as described in Section 5.

All personal information you provide must be true, complete and accurate — please notify us of any changes.

Information automatically collected

Some information — such as your IP address and browser or device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our services. This does not reveal your specific identity but may include:

  • Log and usage data — diagnostic, usage and performance information our servers record automatically, including device event information and error reports.
  • Device data — information about the computer, phone or tablet you use, including hardware model, operating system, and network provider.
02

How do we process your information?

In short — to provide, improve and administer our services, to communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law.

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our services, including to:

  • Facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts.
  • Request feedback and contact you about your use of our services.
  • Deliver targeted advertising — developing and displaying content and advertising tailored to your interests and location.

  • Evaluate and improve our services, products, marketing, and your experience.
  • Comply with our legal obligations, respond to legal requests, and establish or defend our legal rights.
03

When and with whom do we share your information?

In short — we may share information in specific situations described in this section.

We may need to share your personal information in the following situation:

  • Business transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business by another company.
04

Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

In short — we may use cookies and similar technologies to collect and store your information.

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to gather information when you interact with our services. Some of these help maintain the security of our services and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and support basic site functions.

We also permit third parties and service providers to use tracking technologies for analytics and advertising — including managing and displaying advertisements, tailoring ads to your interests, or sending abandoned-cart reminders, depending on your communication preferences.

Google Analytics

We may share your information with Google Analytics to track and analyze use of the services, including remarketing and Google Display Network impressions reporting. You can opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, manage advertising features through Ads Settings, or review Google's Privacy & Terms for more detail.

05

How do we handle your social logins?

In short — if you register or log in using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you.

Our services let you register and log in using third-party social media account details, such as Facebook or X. Where you choose to do this, we receive certain profile information from your social media provider — often your name, email address, friends list, and profile picture, along with anything else you've made public on that platform.

We use this information only for the purposes described in this notice. We do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your information by your social media provider — we recommend reviewing their own privacy notice.

06

How long do we keep your information?

In short — we keep your information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this notice.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this notice, unless a longer period is required by law — for example tax or accounting rules. No purpose in this notice requires keeping your personal information for longer than six (6) months past the termination of your account.

Once there is no ongoing legitimate business need to process your information, we either delete or anonymize it, or — where that isn't possible, such as data held in backup archives — securely store and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

07

Do we collect information from minors?

In short — we do not knowingly collect data from, or market to, children under 18 years of age.

By using the services, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to their use of the services. If we learn that personal information from a user under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete the data from our records. If you become aware of any such data, please contact us at info@theinvestmentschool.in.

08

What are your privacy rights?

In short — you may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, depending on your country or state of residence.

Withdrawing your consent. Where we rely on your consent to process your information, you have the right to withdraw it at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 11. This won't affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Account information

If you'd like to review, change, or terminate your account, you can log in to your account settings and update it directly. On request to terminate, we deactivate or delete your account from our active databases, though we may retain some information to prevent fraud, troubleshoot issues, assist investigations, or meet legal requirements.

Cookies and similar technologies. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can usually set yours to remove or reject them, though this may affect certain features of our services.

Questions or comments about your privacy rights can be sent to info@theinvestmentschool.in.

Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Most web browsers and some mobile platforms include a Do-Not-Track (DNT) feature you can activate to signal a preference against having your online activity monitored. No uniform technical standard for recognizing DNT signals currently exists, so we do not respond to them. If a standard is adopted that we're required to follow, we'll describe that practice in a revised version of this notice.

10

Do we make updates to this notice?

In short — yes, we'll update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

Updated versions are marked with a revised date at the top of this notice. Where we make material changes, we may notify you by prominently posting a notice or sending you a direct notification. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
